Christine is an award-winning fine art oil painter whose work explores the subtle intersections of nature, emotion, and memory. Her paintings invite viewers to slow down, look closer, and experience the stillness often hidden within the everyday.

Rooted in classical technique yet shaped by a contemporary sensibility, Christine’s work is known for its luminous color, layered textures, and intimate sense of atmosphere. Whether capturing the fragile poetry of a still life, the meditative calm of a landscape, or the expressive depth of the human form, her paintings offer a moment of reflection in a fast-moving world.

Artist's Statement

My work is driven by a fascination with the quiet, transformative power of light. Whether I am painting a landscape, a still life, or a portrait, I seek to capture the subtle shifts that define a moment—the glow at the edge of a horizon, the softened shadows across a tabletop, or the fleeting expression illuminated on a face. Light is never static, and in oil paint I find the perfect medium to explore its depth, mood, and movement.

Each piece begins with observation: the way color bends around form, how atmosphere changes the character of a place, or how a single highlight can reshape emotion. I paint to preserve these ephemeral details, but also to invite viewers to linger with them, to recognize the beauty that often passes unnoticed.

Ultimately, my work is an exploration of presence—of being attentive to the world as it is, in all its shifting luminosity. Through oil painting, I hope to create spaces of quiet connection, where light tells its own story and the viewer becomes part of it.
