As an artist, I sometimes feel the need to find a new challenge, a new focus. Not only does this help me to grow as a painter, but it keeps me inspired to explore new ways to capture images on canvas. As the days become warmer and the first signs of Spring appear, I'm thinking about some of the beautiful landscapes here in the Pacific Northwest. As a regular hiker and cyclist I've been fortunate to see many of these natural beauties in person - which inspires me to want to capture them on canvas.
