A New Challenge

As an artist, I sometimes feel the need to find a new challenge, a new focus. Not only does this help me to grow as a painter, but it keeps me inspired to explore new ways to capture images on canvas. This week I'm turning towards a series of three still life paintings that will be more vibrant and colorful than my usual work. Here's a glimpse of the beginnings of the first one. If they turn out as I hope, I'll post them on my website in a few weeks.
